5. Your immune system is likely to benefit from a healthy and active lifestyle and good diet. This means that you will be able to fend off those inevitable illnesses, such as colds and flu. Also, if you are unfortunate enough to fall to a chronic illness, your ability to overcome it is greatly enhanced if you have tried to care for your immune system through diet and suitable exercise.
There are many other reasons you can benefit from keeping up a good fitness program, but those above are perhaps the key benefits to most people. For sporting types, though, the right type of exercise can be crucial to improving their game, or whatever their sport may be. That, though, is another matter, and different sports may require different exercise programs.
